Emma really wanted to make a gingerbread house this year. Every time we passed by a gingerbread making kit she begged for it! So yesterday I gave in and we made the girl's first gingerbread house. Yes- it's real gingerbread- not graham crackers! While I helped with the icing, Emma put all the candies on herself. Ellie decided she needed to test the freshness of the candy and supervised the project while she ate the decorations. So funny! By the time we were done the entire kitchen table was covered in red and green sprinkles, candy and a little bit of frosting- but the way Emma's face lit up when it was done made it all worth it!!!
