Christmas at the Cabin!

The beautiful Palisades

A view from the front porch- the lake was misting up. It was beautiful!

The famous sugar cookies! This year Emma decided to make them into reindeer. We helped her with the frosting and the pretzel ears but she did the eyes and red noses all by herself!

Christmas morning... ecstatic girls and a tired Daddy!

Ellie when she got her very own baby!

Christmas morning... oh yes, we were all spoiled!!!

The night Marissa arrived. The girls stayed up past 10 just waiting for their Auntie Rissa to arrive. They had some hugs and kisses then collapsed into bed.

This year Ben was lucky enough to get 4 days off for Christmas! We loaded up the kids and went to my Mom and Tory's cabin in Palisades. I have to say that Palisades is a beautiful area but when it is covered in snow and the lake is misting- it is stunning!!! My sister, Auntie Rissa, was able to fly in and spend Christmas with us all too. Even our sister Ashley and her husband came up for a day. We ate tons of food, especially my moms delicious sugar cookies, played in the snow and even rode some snowmobiles! It can't get better than that! It was so great to have all the family together for Christmas and even better to have it in a beautiful setting. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!!!
